Andreakou Lia

Lia Andreakou is an archaeologist, graduate of the University of Crete. She works occasionally as a field archaeologist but she is mainly involved with cultural management and the administration of cultural organizations with experience in various fields, from strategic planning, project management and event organisation (educational programs and seminars, scientific workshops, exhibitions, guided thematic tours etc.) to administrative and secretarial support, digital communication management, social media and public relations, fundraising and volunteer recruiting. She is also certified in person- centred counselling of mental health at the ICPS College from the Strathclyde University of Glasgow. She is particularly interested in the design of interdisciplinary activities and programmes which combine the fields of culture, education, tourism and psychology. The objective is, on the one hand, the meaningful personal development and the positive reinforcement of the participants through constructive and creative learning and entertaining processes and, on the other hand, the promotion of cultural heritage and the diffusion of scientific knowledge to the public.
